The Foam Expo North America 2024 took place from June 25-27 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan.

Bäumer announces a significant change in the management of Baumer of America Inc: After seven years, Uwe Scharfy is stepping down as CEO. As of May 1, Christoph Magnet will take over the position of CEO.

From January 1, 2023, the American subsidiary of Albrecht Bäumer GmbH & Co. KG is expanding to Tampa, Florida. With this step the manufacturer for cutting machines and software for the foam industry wants to cover larger parts of the US, Canada and Mexico in terms of service and support in the future.

When Uwe Scharfy started as CEO at Baumer of America Inc. in 2017, his goal was to further expand Bäumer’s market position in North America.

For 75 years, Albrecht Bäumer GmbH & Co. KG has been a leading manufacturer of systems, machines and software for cutting, processing and transporting foam materials. Bäumer secures the future of its customers in the foam industry through customer-specific engineering and intelligent services. In 2021, Christoph Hauck will become the first external CEO in the company's 75-year history to assume the position of sole managing director at Bäumer. With stability and sustainability, he wants to keep the “big ship” Bäumer on course, relying in particular on almost 400 motivated employees. Bäumer is a matter of the heart for him, a perfect match, so to speak.
